Chatham’s Chris Conlin Wins National Men’s Lacrosse Championship
Chatham’s own Chris Conlin, and the Notre Dame lacrosse team took home the NCAA Division 1 men’s lacrosse championship with a 17-12 win over the Duke Blue Devils on May 29.
“Winning the National Championship was one of the best feelings in my life,” Conlin said. “It was truly a storybook ending for the Notre Dame program as a whole and I am extremely grateful to have had the opportunity to be a part of such a special group. After coming from Holy Cross where I had one single victory my senior year, to winning the National Championship, you can’t ask for a better ending.”
Conlin’s impressive array of accomplishments dates back to his high school days here in Chatham. Conlin has played defense throughout his lacrosse career.
